The Jotit Teacher Extension is accessed through Google Chrome.

It allows teachers to manage web access, send students to assignments, and conduct polls.
2. Managing Web Access 0:13

There are three web access statuses:

Open: Students can navigate to any district or school allowed website.

Limited: Students can only access websites linked within Canvas.

Closed: Students are completely disabled from using any websites.

3. Sending Links to Students 2:07

Teachers can send students to specific modules, assignments, or URLs.

Sending an Item from Canvas:

Select the item and hit send.
-
Students receive a countdown before the item opens automatically.

Sending and Locking:

Choose to lock students into the item for a set time.

Students will see a notification that they are locked into the assignment.

4. Sending URLs 4:11

Teachers can paste a URL to send students directly to a website.

Similar to sending an item, you can choose to send it with a countdown or lock them in.
5. Conducting Polls 4:31

Teachers can select students for polls (single or all).
-
Choose the poll type (e.g., agree/disagree) and set a time limit for responses.

Students will see the question and respond in real-time, with results visible to the teacher.
