How to Use Your Finger as a Stylus

 

1. Access Settings 0:00

  • Open the settings menu in Jotit.

  • Look for the option labeled 'Is finger drawing enabled'.

  • Note: This feature must be activated by your Customer Success Manager, it is not enabled by default.

 

2. Enable Finger Drawing 0:21

  • Once the option is available, toggle 'Is finger drawing enabled' to ON.

  • Students will access this feature individually as needed.

 

3. Use Drawing Tools 0:46

  • Check the bottom toolbar to ensure the pencil tool is selected and the finger icon is upright.

  • Use your finger to draw, circle headings, or erase as needed.

 

4. Zoom In for Highlighting 1:11

  • To highlight text, you may need to zoom in.

  • Select the hand icon from the bottom toolbar to change the finger icon to diagonal.

 

5. Highlight Text 1:45

  • With the finger icon diagonal, you can zoom in/out using a two-finger gesture.

  • Select the highlighter tool and adjust the size with your finger to highlight text.

  • Ensure the finger icon is upright to use copy and paste functions.
