Creating a Digital Binder Check in Jotit

This workflow allows teachers to post materials throughout a unit or chapter and then collect all student work at the end using a single digital binder check assignment. It replaces traditional paper binders with an organized, digital submission process.


1. Post Unit Materials Over Time

  • Use the Materials section to post notes, activities, and resources throughout the unit or chapter.

  • Materials remain available for students to reference and build on as they progress.


2. Create a Binder Check Assignment

  • At the end of the unit or chapter, create a Binder Check assignment.

  • Include clear instructions for which materials students should submit.

  • Set a due date for final submission.


3. Have Students Attach Work from the Unit

  • Students attach completed work directly from their materials.


4. Include Additional Notebook Items

5. Collect and Review Submissions
